"If I turn into another,
Dig me up from under what is covering
The better part of me.
Sing this song,
Remind me that we'll always have eachother
When everything else is gone."

Ah, another Sunday. They're my least favorite day of the week. I always wake up late because I stayed up too late. Then I have to do my laundry for the week, which I put off until the last minute and end up staying up too late, waiting for it to be done. Of course, I struggle to get to bed before 1AM anyway because I slept in....
Vicious cycle, kids.
Anyway, I figured it's time for an update on life. Plus, I have a feature, which I'll get to a little farther down.
I got a belated Christmas card from Creston, the middle of my three little brothers. He's ten and just got moved from a group home to a foster home. The card reads "to amey from creston I wish you a marry christmas I hope you get a lot of video games." As the message gets closer and closer to the bottom, the letters go from being more than an inch tall to being very tiny so he could fit it all.

He's adorable. And believe it or not, his spelling has improved.

Work has been so-so, which translates into, "miserable but not getting worse." I've been feeling very creative and wanting to do a photomanip' or write something, but nothing is coming out. I haven't even been gaming much. I just get home, shower, have dinner and then lay around and watch Without a Trace or something. Lacking energy, I suppose.
My taxes are done at least. Jon's mother did both of ours. I got more back than I thought I would -- more than Jon actually. Because I was working lastyear but hadn't made enough to get the stimulus rebate, I get half of the money I would have recieved lastyear tacked onto the end of my return this year. Of course, I have to save that for apartment stuff....
Alrighty. On to the feature.

I stumbled across *
Jonsama's gallery a few weeks ago and was quickly rendered speechless by the quality and beauty of their paintings. Their landscapes are too warm and inviting to pass by without being hooked in. You don't see many painters like this on dA anymore, and I have yet to come across another traditional artist who has me doing a little happy dance when a new painting appears in my inbox. So here are a few of their works that I like the most. Now go look at the rest of their gallery.

[Rant Ended]

If all my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't follow. I'd be at the bottom to catch them when they fall.
I'm glad you liked the feature.

Thank you so much for featuring us, we are honored. When you first told me I thought there would be other artists as well. We're very happy that you think so highly of our work. Makes us want to create more. I know it's why I paint, to make others and myself feel good
