Afternoon, all.

Tomorrow is the Superbowl.
It's also the day Jon and I celebrate our anniversary. Four years of relationshipage on the fifth. We call it Dytyad. None of you will know what it stands for anymore. It's an inside thing between us and our friend ~lovelorn who introduced us.
But yeah.
Superbowl Sunday means we have the stores and restaurants pretty much to ourselves because all of those sports losers are inside drinking, snacking and ordering pizza.

Work was really crappy for a little while. The repetition was really getting to the bones and tendons and muscles in my arms and hands. I'm still very achey, but the machines I'm running have let up on the drilling part, which means I get time to breathe instead of rushing around, trying to catch up/keep up with my workload. I'm one of those tough chicks, but I'm not that tough....

I've been in a Modest Mouse mood again lately. You either love that sort of music, or you hate it. Listening to a lot of CAKE too. I guess I've just been feeling loopy.

We finally went out and bought Firefly last weekend. We'd both been wanting to re-watch it without dealing with the friend from whom we'd borrowed it originally. Part of my whole post-apocalyptic obsession lately, along with Fallout 3 and the fact that I'm finally taking that big step and reading King's Dark Tower series.

Mmm.... I smell the smell of cookies baking.
