The second chakra, Svadhisthana (sometimes spelled swadhisthana), is the chakra of pleasure, emotion and sexuality. It is located just below the navel. Its associated color is orange, and its element is water.
I chose a nymph to represent this chakra, because what better to illustrate pure emotion and pleasure? This is the second piece of my Chakra series. Enjoy! *******  The background and the bird. The lovely nymph. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
