The first chakra, Muladhara, is the chakra of survival and instinct, and is located at the base of the spine. Its associated color is red and its element is Earth.

This is the beginning of a series of 'manips I'm going to do, based on the seven main chakras.

I love it - it's so vibrant, yet peaceful. A relaxing piece. :) Thanks for doing these manips - I think this is a great idea for a series and it helps encourage me to keep reading the book. :)

:) I'd been wanting to do a chakra based manip for so long, but my original idea was one manip with all the chakras.... But that didn't work out. I like this better anyway. :) Now I get to focus on each of them, which will help me learn more about them in the process. :giggle:

oh awesome! I started to study about the chakras when I was studying Wicca but never really got into it much. This is gonna be a really neat series!

:D Thanks. I'm very excited about it. I just finished the third piece in the series, and although I promised myself I'd submit one a day, I really want to submit it because I really love how it turned out.... :giggle:

I first heard about the chakras when I was Wiccan, but I didn't start studying them until later on, and right now, I'm really into it. I love learning different theories and philosophies....

I haven't delved very far into it, but someone told me that I would be really good at working with them *had a hunch about me or whatever* but I haven't read much about them. I think I will now!

It'll help me too! I actually read more of the book! BUT I got a new book in the mail that I had forgotten I'd ordered and I've gotten absorbed into it - I've almost finished it. LOL It's about hoodoo, which is not something I think I have the patience or will to actually learn about, but it's fascinating to read about. LOL I know I'm a weirdo geek!
