"It was as though the scales fell from my eyes and the openings of the universe were shown to me. What I felt was pure, divine, eternal, knowing, compassionate love, and it was obvious. It wasn't even exhilarating. It was like when you look at an optical illusion and all of a sudden, 'Oh, I see.' It just switched like this. 'Oh, I see. I am that. I come from that. That is what I am. And that is what everything is.'"
-- Elizabeth Gilbert
I was listening to an interview with the author of Eat, Pray, Love, and she was talking about her experiences with mediation and spirituality... and I started on this piece. I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time, something simple, symbolizing my own relationship nature/my Higher Power.
It's been a long time since I've considered myself to be religious, or even especially spiritual. There was a point where I was very serious about my spiritual studies/exploration, but when I fell into a spell of depression, all exploration stopped. I'd like to change that soon.

Just lovely. This is my favorite piece of yours, now.

This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
